Security

The system is provided with three levels of security that enable assignment of different access levels and protection against unauthorized changes to equipment settings.

Multiple Languages

The CPS M52 is available in several languages.

Communications

The controller is ready for use with multiple units, utilizing the built-in powerful Works TM network logic.

Works TM Connectivity

Our controller is at the heart of all C.P.S. product intelligence. Works TM is based on a unique multi-master network system designed by Canadian Power Solutions to maximize performance, reliability and manageability of our precision air conditioning systems. Its six key control functions guarantee the highest possible degree of on-site connectivity utilizing built-in IIC communication bus. An optional remote mounted panel allows for remote monitoring and control in a LAN environment. A common alarm output can be used for auto dialing an emergency response unit for remote sites.

Control Redundancy

This means that Works TM network is not dependent on a single designated master controller. If a master controller experience technical difficulty, the system will automatically transfer the master's duties to another controller. The network actually has multiple masters ensuring maximum redundancy and protection.

Duty Sharing

The system is capable of equalizes runtime and standby time for all units in a network by coordinating the operation of standby and duty units based on accumulated runtime. This increases the network's reliability.

Data Synchronization

Allows the operator to review and change operational data at any random unit in the network. All changes will automatically be communicated and reset across all the units in the network, this will save time and simplify operations.

Expansion of Control Steps

Provides for precise capacity matching with up to 8 steps of control. This means optimum operating efficiency and maximum system reliability.

Control Value Averaging avoids units fighting each other in the network by exchanging and averaging temperature and relative humidity sensor data between units in one space.

Sequential Load Activation provides for a coordinated activation of components for each unit in the network in order to minimize in-rush currents when components in a system are activated or deactivated at the same time due to power disruption.

Remote Monitoring and Control

Your computer room, telecommunications center and all other critical areas having support systems such as precision air-conditioning, uninterrupted power supplies, smoke detection, fire suppression, water leakage detection, security access, special process control ...etc, must be closely monitored to insure the various systems are functioning properly, thereby avoiding disaster.

Your entire support system setup may spread over multiple rooms in multiple buildings throughout the country. You need a way to efficiently control and monitor every piece of equipment from a central location without costly dedicated personnel and time consuming travel.

The CPS-SatchNet central monitoring system is the most cost effective solution for helping you manage and monitor your entire facility.

CPSl-SatchNet resembles a service team with continuous surveillance of your entire support system. By using a simple hard wired twisted pair or the public telephone network, CPS-SatchNet gives you the opportunity to tie various support systems from different locations into a central personal computer.

The CPS-SatchNet connectivity also makes remote monitoring of equipment without communication capability possible. You can connect any equipment with contact or analogue signals to CPS-SatchNet via a low cost interface. You can also take advantage of the built-in contact inputs in Canadian Power Solutions Precision Air Conditioning products to monitor alarms from common support systems.

Simplicity in setup and user friendliness has been built into CPS-SatchNet right from its inception. With configurable graphic display and mouse driven interface, you can navigate and perform tasks by simply clicking the desired graphic, icon or menu.
